Volunteer Trudie Britt-
Trudie Britt Robinson is a volunteer that was originally travelling to Kenya,
but is now going to Ghana on 6th February to work in an Orphanage there.
Trudie has informed us that her good friend Karen Worth had very kindly
donated £150 from the pharmacy she manages in Wadebridge, Cornwall.
This is brilliant news, so on behalf of Trudie and everyone at Original
Volunteers, we would like to say well done and thank you very much Karen!

Mealtime!
Above shows some Original Volunteers getting stuck into the local cuisine together, after their hard work volunteering in the orphanage.

Facilities
The new facilities will enable the children to develop their sensory, motor, and social skills amongst many more.
Children
Here are some of the children getting stuck in, budding artists of the future under the watchful eye of a volunteer.
Appreciated
All the hard work is all very much appreciated as you can see. Painting is so much fun.
Our teens
What they say about us
We have been very fortunate to have had some exceptional
volunteers from a UK based organization called Original
Volunteers with us during the summer months.

Christmas 07
Sister Mari, the orphanage’s director announced that Christmas 2007 with the volunteer’s support was the best ever and hopes that every Christmas could be as much fun for the children.
These wonderful volunteers were involved in all aspects of the orphanage (Refugio). They
showed the children how to play football, helped some learn to walk, cooked food, taught classes in art, English, drawing and even drama. This was particularly remarkable since the volunteers did not speak Spanish and the children did not speak English. But as Sol puts it, ‘’The language of love has no borders’’.
Welcome to Mexico
